Leadership Team
We believe in plurality and equality of leadership in accordance with 1 Timothy 3:1-12 in hope of the unity and diversity of 1 Corinthians 12. From these passages we see a two tier structure of Overseers/Elders and Deacons and an array of gifts from the Spirit that express extraordinary unity and diversity within the Church body.
We reflect this structure along with the mutal love relationship ethic of the Holy Trinity, both as a leadership team and a congregation.
We also firmly believe in the 1 Corinthians 9 principle where the apostle Paul forsakes many of the rights that he has as a gospel minister to recieve full time support in order that the gospel of Jesus goes out free of charge. In light of this we as a leadership team remain employed at some capacity and will only ever have our income supplemented by the Church if this becomes a viable option.
