Truth
Truth (also known as doctrine) comes from God. We hold truth to be unchanging and absolute. We hold these 7 truths to be essential.
1. We believe God has always existed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit.
2. We believe that humans learn of God through His Word, the Bible.
3. We believe that all 66 books of the Bible are inspired by God in their original languages.
4. We believe that God created humans in His own image and that God desires relationship with each of us.
5. We believe that every human has sinned and has been spiritually separated from God.
6. We believe that Jesus paid sin’s price by dying and bodily rising again, so humans can be spiritually joined with God.
7. We believe that every human who accepts Jesus’ payment, receives God’s Spirit and becomes part of His church
